She grew up in a house full of musicians listening to a wide range of music from Led Zeppelin to Alabama and loved it all. She's still singing everything from that good old Classic Rock to the heart filled Country music. Cristi started playing the guitar at an early age. She began sitting in and singing with local bands in the 1990’s and eventually became the lead singer for a band called Honky Tonk Angel in Silver Spring, MD. That’s where she met Gary Falwell. They played all around the Silver Spring area for two years with Honky Tonk Angel. She came to see her neighbor's band Pandora and met Kenn Treworgy and they eventually became Poverty Ridge and have been making music together ever since. |

Jeff Goodwin Drums-Vocals I have always loved music. When I was little, I would carry a radio around everywhere I went. I participated in chorus and Band (Trumpet/ Trombone) throughout Elementary and Middle School. But, Everything Changed when I went to a HighSchool Football Game with my Older Brother. There was a Huge Band Playing Great Music..... And then the Drummers Started to Play a funky style of Music that Originates from the D.C. Area know as GoGo. People were Cheering and Dancing, and I was Hooked ! The Summer before Entering HighSchool, I signed up for Band & Marching Band. I Showed Up and said, "I want to be a Drummer and Play GoGo at the Games". The Music Teacher Quickly Told me, " You will NOT be a Drummer in My Class, You WILL be a Percussionist". Also, I was told that since I had Never Marched that I would have to Play Cymbals.... I was very Disappointed but kept with it, I Knew it would take Practice and Commitment. I Practiced a lot and Played in the Concert, Symphonic, Marching/Pep, and Steel Drum Bands, as well as Percussion with the Orchestra, I learned to Appreciate All Styles of Music as well as the Importance of SILENCE. I Made the Snare Line, and my last two years I played Quads (Leader of the GoGo). |
